ABOUT
MEET EMMA
Young-ish person who likes old stuff. Maximalist. Designer. Collector. Seller. Antique store review. Rabbit owner. Party hostess and traveler, too.
As an eclectic maximalist, I'm a big believer in buying and collecting things you love - unique, quality pieces from a bygone era where things were just more FUN. And I believe in actually using those pieces (or at least putting them on display so I can enjoy them). Whether it be in my studio apartment or design studio, nothing is better than showing off your most treasured items.
I'm always hunting for new pieces and new places to source vintage. While I started selling vintage in 2020 (first on Instagram, now on Etsy), I was a collector long before that. My earliest collections included: vintage rhinestone jewelry, porcelain trinket boxes, lace hankies, and haberdashery bits (velvet ribbons, buttons, and millinery fruit). Over the years, my taste hasn't changed much. It's just become... more expansive?
Things I collect: vintage tins, floral paintings, glassware, floral china, toleware (trays, sconces, chandeliers, candelabras), Florentine pieces (boxes, trays, coasters, frames, side tables, boudoir drawers), vintage wallpaper (or anything covered in vintage wallpaper!), craft supplies, holiday decor (Christmas, Easter, Jewish holidays), novelty items, catalogues, books, brocade gowns from the 50-70s..... what don't I collect?I am maybe most famous for my vintage party goods (paper garlands, honeycomb fans, party favors, etc.) and paper lantern collection (800+).
Follow along for tips and tricks, antique store reviews, breakdowns on my collections, history lessons on the things we love. And be sure to follow me on Instagram, where I post daily.
