Virginia Recommendations
Virginia is for lovers - antique lovers, that is. Here are my favorite places to source vintage in Virginia:

Northern Virginia:
DC Big Flea (@bigfleamarket)
Dulles Expo Center
4320 Chantilly Shopping Center
Chantilly, VA 20151
https://www.thebigfleamarket.com/dc-show
- "THE MID-ATLANTIC'S LARGEST ANTIQUES FLEA MARKET" - Is that true? I guess?
- Decent size indoor market. They charge an entrance fee ($10 or $15).
- On the pricier side. I don't usually find much for resale... but always find a few things for my personal collection!
- Mostly smalls, but also some interesting antique furniture and statement pieces. Vintage china, lots of glassware, textiles, christmas/holiday decor, clothing, purses, estate jewelry, fine artwork, etc.
- See video tour here and here and here.

Falls Church Antique Annex
250 W Broad St,
Falls Church, VA 22046
https://www.yelp.com/biz/falls-church-antique-center-falls-church-2
- One the smaller side (they used to have a second floor - hope it comes back!), but multi-dealer. Well curated mix of bigs and (mostly) smalls. Prices are on the mid to higher side... but no reproductions here!
- Really fun around Christmas!! Lots of ornaments.
- See video tour here and here and here!
Home Store Furniture (@homestorefairfax)
3250 Blenheim Blvd,
Fairfax, VA 22030
https://www.facebook.com/homestorefairfax/
- WEIRD. Listen, if you Google this place... you will be CONFUSED. Basically a modern home furnishing store with an antique mall/Pier 1 Imports in the back.
- Marketed as an "antique mall," there are definitely some antiques (including vintage glassware that is on the pricey side). Vintage tea cups and Eames chairs, too. The bulk seems to be consignment + imported goods (teak wood furniture, copper, and galvanized pots). An interesting place to stop by if you are in the area. But not what I would classify as an "antique mall."
Van Bommel Antiek Haus
1007 King St # 2,
Alexandria, VA 22314
https://www.yelp.com/biz/van-bommel-antiek-haus-alexandria
- Very well curated shop in Old Town Alexandria. Worth stopping in if you're in the area.
- Definitely on the pricy side. But true antiques! Pretty stuff to admire.
- See video tour here.

Evolution Home (@evolutionhome)
861 S Pickett St,
Alexandria, VA 22304
- An interesting (weird?) place worth stopping at if you're in the area. Definitely higher-end and geared towards interior decorators. Mix of old and new, bigs and smalls. Prices on the higher side. Furniture, estate jewelry, paintings, toleware, china. Some MCM mixed in there too. Lots of chinoiserie. No junk.
-See video tour here.

Leesburg, VA:
The Old Lucketts Store (@luckettstore)
42350 Lucketts Rd,
Leesburg, VA 20176
- Restored general store dating to 1879 with a variety of antiques & vintage home goods & furnishings.
- Mix of bigs and smalls. Fun furniture
- Over the years, it has become more prone to reproduction and cottage decor.
- Each room is different and interesting to look at, as well as the grounds which are filled with antique patio furniture, stone fountains, and concrete planters.
- Wonderful vintage clothing/accessory seller on the top floor. Millinery hats, lucite purses, vintage gowns!
***Lucketts usually has a fall market in Berryville, VA. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it sucks. Has really turned into a "girlfriends who shop" kind of market - pumpkins, modern reproduction from Homegoods, and little trinket gifts. Bring back the vintage! See video tour here.

On a Whim (@onawhimantiques)
14924 James Monroe Hwy,
Leesburg, VA 20176
https://www.facebook.com/pinksilo/
- If you're a local, you may know of this place from its pink and black polka dot exterior!
- Still has a fair amount of vintage, but has become much more gift-y in recent years. They used to have a fabulous room full of vintage prom dresses, millinery hats, floral porcelain trinket boxes, and rhinestone jewelry. Was so fun.
- Worth stopping by if you are in Leesburg.

Vintage Magnolia (@vintagemagnoliallc)
19487 James Monroe Hwy,
Leesburg, VA 20175
http://www.vintagemagnolia.net/
- A mix of new and old, bigs and smalls. And a mix of prices. Great place to look for fine antique furniture. But also has fun little stuff (tins, china, accessories, etc.). Scored an antique wood spool cabinet for only $70! Deal of the century.
- Housed in a historic motel. Fun barn out back.
- Super friendly employees!
- See video tour here.
Central Virginia:

Fox Den Antique Mall
355 W Shirley Ave,
Warrenton, VA 20186
- Mix of bigs and smalls. But all on the pricey (or veryyyyy pricey) side.
- Good for the equestrian-lover. Lot's of Ralph Lauren-esque, traditional, hunting, etc. items.
- Worth stopping in if you are in the area.

Copper Fox Antiques
7 River Ln,
Sperryville, VA 22740
https://copperfoxantiques.com/
- 27,000 sqft - lots of furniture and architectural salvage. Not a ton of smalls.
- My main concern was with the water damage... seemed to be a very damp and wet place when I was there. Always use your judgment when buying.
- Fun building - used to be an apple packing house!
- It's a 10 minute drive from Inn at Little Washington (a MUST VISIT!), but not sure I'd go a second time even if I was close by.
- See video tour here.

Country Shoppes of Culpeper
10046 James Monroe Hwy,
Culpeper, VA 22701
https://www.facebook.com/countryshoppes/
- The name made me suspicious as to whether there would be any actual vintage… but alas, there was! And I did well! Crap (modern Christmas from Hobby Lobby, yard sale junk) mixed in as well. But I really scored big time with cheap vintage Christmas here.
- Prices definitely mixed, but worth coming!
- See video tour here.
MinuteMan MiniMall
746 Germanna Hwy,
Culpeper, VA 22701
http://www.minutemanminimallva.com/
- Huge place with mix of crap and vintage. You have to be willing to dig through the crap to get to the goodies. Pretty much all smalls.
- Extra fun around Christmas - CHEAP vintage holiday items.
- Not for someone who is looking for high-end antiques.

Winchester, VA:

Blue Peacock Antiques
116 N. Loudoun St
Winchester, VA 22601
https://bluepeacockantiquesva.com/
- On the popular Pedestrian Mall in the heart of Old Town Winchester. Super cute area with fun outdoor restaurants! Great place to spend a few hours.
- 9,000sqft, multi-dealer, mix of bigs and (mostly) smalls.
- Mixed prices - most on the higher side, but there are deals to be had! I did very well here!
- See video tour here.

Past and Present
100 Full House Dr,
Winchester, VA 22603
https://www.facebook.com/p/Past-Present-100029060636021/
- One of those places that’s mostly yard sale junk (read: modern Hobby Lobby), but definitely has vintage. Found some great plates and serving pieces.
- Mixed prices but deals to be had, especially on glassware/china. Large enough that you'll probably find something... just have to dig for it.
- Maybe not a destination, but I don’t mind running in these places if there’s even a slim chance of finding something good! Close to downtown Winchester, so if you’re already in the area… might as well stop by!
- See video tour here.
